The Fund is established to commemorate the life and legacy of Irv Brown. Irv was 密歇根州立大学丹佛’s first baseball coach from 1968 to 1969. He was inducted into the Colorado 体育 Hall of Fame in 1997 and into the Roadrunners 体育运动 Hall of Fame in 2012. Irv also spent nine years coaching baseball at the University of Colorado and 15 years as an NCAA basketball referee. Irv was a legendary radio broadcaster in 丹佛 for 40 years. His career is the epitome of the “business side” of sports and will serve to inspire students to follow in his footsteps as a coach, 管理员, broadcaster and official.
