CREATING THE STRATEGIC PLAN (FALL 2022 – SUMMER 2023)

Each phase of the creation of the strategic plan for student affairs built upon the original and continued in six phases.

Phase 1 (September – October): We engaged student affairs leaders in ideating our future and hosted 愿景ing sessions using appreciative inquiry to gather information that highlighted the good already being done.

Phase 2 (October – November): We hosted several SWOT (Strengths, 弱点, 机会, Threats) focus groups with directors, associate/assistant directors, coordinator/entry level 工作人员 to assess student affairs.

第三阶段(十二月): Senior leadership in student affairs reviewed all information gathered through 愿景ing sessions, 和SWOT焦点小组, along with supplemental documents (I.e., National Survey for 学生参与, RealCollege调查, Engaged Leaders Survey Data) to create the values, 愿景, 任务, guiding commitments and a draft version of the strategic plan goals.

第四阶段(一月至六月): Strategic plan goals were finalized following an ideating session with all 皇冠体育官网 工作人员. We identified working groups and lead facilitators using a nomination process. Teams then took time to create strategies and tactics to meet our five strategic goals.  The Vice President for 皇冠体育官网 and lead facilitators embraced shared governance and sought feedback on initial drafts of the strategic plan.

第五阶段(七月至八月): 皇冠体育官网 will finalize the plan and launch it at the Fall 皇冠体育官网 Kickoff on August 11, 2023.

第六阶段(正在进行): 评估 of the strategic plan will be on-going and will include goal re愿景/resetting, 如果有必要的话.
