的 Division of Humanities and Social Sciences has eleven academic departments including the Department of Africana Studies, the Department of Chicana/o Studies, the Department of Communication Studies, the Department of English, the Department of History, the Department of Journalism and 媒体 Production, the Department of Philosophy, the Department of Political Science, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, the Department of World Languages and the Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy (GITA).
