Study abroad program in Rome and Perugia
OWOW offers an annual study abroad program to 意大利 with our partner university, Università per Stranieri di Perugia. 不到两周, students can earn three elective credits through this class taught partly in Rome and partly in Perugia, a picturesque Umbrian town approximately two hours northeast of 意大利’s capital.
开放 to undergraduate students (from 密歇根州立大学丹佛 or other universities) as well as non-degree-seeking participants, the course explores 意大利’s water history from the aqueducts to the present day. A focus is on 意大利’s agricultural (and wine!) heritage, building, and celebrating links between 意大利 and Colorado.
Colorado Water Issues, Local 行动
2021年9月, the OWOW Center hosted a panel discussion with local water experts on the importance of equitable access to clean water, 丹佛’s history on the subject, and what local agencies are doing to find solutions to the issue.
丹佛地铁水节
